Rafters at the Getty Center

I took this a few years ago on my first ever photo walk (which happened to be at the Getty Center -- when parking used to only be $8!)

Anyway, I've been pretty busy doing graduation portraits lately. I, unfortunately got blurry or bad pictures of the famous people I had intended on shooting this weekend. Oh well. At least the graduation photos are getting awesome feedback. You win some; you lose some.

LA: The Getty Center - Revisited

I knew it was too soon to post a Getty entry this year. Lo, and behold, I had a photo assignment to shoot the architectural features of the Getty. Above is the main waterfall and garden at the Getty. Below is the inside the main building.

LA: The Getty Center

I was playing tour guide and decided to showcase LA with a trip to the Getty. I love using it as a reliable tourist sight because, not only does one get to see world famous art (Van Goghs!), but also fantastic views of the Westside and downtown (smog permitting, of course). The museum itself is an architectural dream.
