Travel: Philippines - Stove

This is a gas stove top in a typical, lower-middle class kitchen in the Philippines. Unlike the ones we have in the US, it sits above the counter and is connected to a propane tank (?). It actually freaks me out for some reason. A couple of my reflections snuck its way into the photograph.

I just wanted to lay a few ground rules as well. I was toying with the idea of posting the studio portraits I took while in the Philippines, but I've decided against it in the end.
